BEYOND brilliant! Let me type out Rae’s lovely argument in response to this image so everyone can read it.

A) That egg is unfertilizedB) That seed hasn’t begun to germinateC) I can’t tell whether the picture is supposed to be referring to the silk, silkworm, or both, but it’s either of the latter, and it’s kind of like pointing to a black person and saying “This isn’t cotton.”D) It’s hard to tell because of the angle whether it’s actually the instant of conception because of the angle. Either way, personhood is a legal concept, so saying “abortion isn’t murder because a zygote/blatocyst/embryo/fetus isn’t a person” is begging the question. “Human” is the term the creator was looking for, and if that is the instant of conception, then it is a human.
Analogy isn’t argument. If I could find a pictorial representation of analogy and make that into an obnoxious image macro, I would.
